    That's a very nice review! I've used MX Linux since version 14: on old Panasonic Toughbooks such as the 18, 19, 28, 29, 30, 31, 52, 53, 54 and find it suits my needs. Yes, there are many other distributions out there to try. I always seem to come back to MX for their excellence in providing an easy to use portable operating system via usb stick with persistence.     fwiw, MX just released MX-Fluxbox. A window manager configured for use on MX Linux. If your a minimalist, check it out.
