Is there a way to do this? I'm trying to uninstall windows 8 by installing my system's windows 7 recovery disks, but it bypasses my CD/DVD priority in boot options. I can only reason that secure boot is preventing this.

    enter your dvd to boot
try hitting f12 or f1 or enter while the manufacturer logo is displayed, you will either be displayed a list of boot devices or open bios, change it fro there.

Uh yeah, those were the first things I tried. DVD is top priority on my boot list, and also f11/12 prompts me to boot from elsewhere, and when choosing DVD it does nothing.

Thanks for the replies but I'm the one that screwed up; was inserting disk 2 rather than disk 1....
