I asked this on other places but I like to hear more opinions. Sorry if you have already answered it somwhere else :)

Is the difference between the 2070S MQ and 2080S MQ in my country worth it? For 1080P at max settings

The price difference between the 2 models is roughly $700 (conversion from MXN), there are not other similar models in my country, so those would be my options to compare .

    One is MSI GS66 SFS with and i9-10980hk, 16g if ram and a 2070 Super Max q ( $2735)

The other is a MSI GE66 Raider with also an i9, 32gb of ram and a 2080 Super max q ($3485)

Should I settle with the 2070S MQ or It would be more worth it to get the 2080S MQ?
    Thank you for your opinion.

I am aware of that, but I really need a laptop, regarding my question, is it worth?

the gs66 is the better buy and will have better resale value when in 5 months the ps5 and xbox series x drop and you will be only able to play minesweeper with those gpus.

honestly because I care.....wait its not often I say that but wait the new consoles are arriving soon and gpus of today will be obsolete.. I bought a gtx 1060 laptop 2 months ago because I have a huge backlog of games I bought that I want to play through and they will keep me busy for years.....but for you....wait till 3080s come out in 7 months. like it might be tempting to get a gs66 but in like 5 months it will be a paperweight so just think of that

Look at the numbers in the benchmarking charts, and compare the performance between the 2070 and 2080 Super relative to the price difference between the two models you're considering.

Ok, now compare that to the price difference.
