Brilliant, brought back some great memories playing the first Deus Ex. Even compared to current single player experiences, it was so much ahead of its time. Level design, story and atmosphere were among the best I've played. I loved the non linear approach with options to solve levels in quite a few different ways. Thinking about this now, I enjoyed all of the series, except for Invisible War.

For real.. I remember I killed Anna Navarre in the plane super early in the game. I had to reload a few times to get it right. It definitely didn't seem like you were supposed to be able to do it but I kept trying. The game actually reacted to it properly later on. I was blown away.

Invisible War would have been better received had it not been a Deus Ex game. It's certainly the worst in the franchise by a country mile, but it's not terrible compared to most of the dreck that passes for AAA gaming today.

I never even tried deus ex I heard it was a great game but never played games back in the day....I remember going to future shop now best buy and buying a gaming laptop witha 7800gtx and playing half life and then I took a break and ended up getting intergrated laptops then finally my first true laptop a 260m asus 16in laptop....and well here I am still not rocking the best with my 1060 but by the time I cant game at 60fps low 1080p the 2080 will be unable to make a tangible difference also...it might do medium then low 1080p a year longer but by then alot faster laptops will be available....so long story short its almost always better to go midrange if you cling to logic.
