    installed this for my dell 9550 (finally!).

    The only driver i had to manually install was the nvidia driver and the audio driver.

    Sadly the dell driver detector doesnt work well anymore. But that was a nice thing to have.

    Thanks for this installer!

    I figured and installed last night. Everything works great! I did have to reset my BIOS to default as it tried to boot from the SSD, but other than that, everything went super smoothly.

    I didn't have to install any additional drivers at all, is that normal? Do I need to manually install nvidia drivers for the GPU?

    The beauty of it is I burnt in the drivers needed to see the drives and get online, Windows update does the rest. The video drivers will need updating and you can check what Windows installs once online and the majority except nvidia should be on the latest.

    Creators fall update is hitting the interweb in about 6 weeks, I expect to do a refreshed ISO for the 9560 when it lands.

    I'm looking, like many other people that end up finding this thread, for a good & fast way to reset my 5960.
    I mean no offense - but after reading tens of pages of this thread:

    What is the advantage of your ISOs over :
    • setting up a flash drive using windows' media creation tool;
    • have it install windows;
    • let windows automatically download and install drivers?
    Is formatting necessary before reinstalling via the flash drive? That is formatting, as a means to wipe the drive. Or does using the Media Creation Tool's flash drive (or your ISOs for that matter) automatically wipe the drive? I want no leftovers of the previous install.

    Also; what is your opinion of these threads (as they offer similar solutions, and I can't decide which to choose):

    Thanks for your efforts, in case I end up using your work!

    As pointed out it is the minimum needed to get you installed and online for Windows update to take over. And for me personally I find stability using newer Intel ahci/raid drivers that windows doesn't update. And before the rs2 release without those windows wouldn't see the nvme drive. It will probably be redundant with the October refresh as the hardware had been out long enough for Microsoft to have caught up so I expect it will be the last one I make.
    As for the other guides, can't say I have the need to read them.

    Thx for your reply. I now see what drove you to make them.
