I am confused though, the OP linked the products and the XPS has much better specs at the same price. Are you looking elsewhere? Perhaps you should link it to help the OP...

    Dell XPS 13:
    • 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-10710U 6-Core Processor 1.10GHz
    • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM
    • 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive
    • 13.3" Touchscreen 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge Anti-Reflective Display
    MacBook Pro (13 inch one):
    • 1.4GHz quad-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor
    • Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
    • 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 memory
    • 128GB SSD storage

My bad, I was thinking of the 2n1 which uses the 4c+Iris Pro.

In this case, there isn't really an argument to be made for the MBA unless you like a nice and stable experience.

I haven't had an issue with my XPS 7390 2-in-1, but then again I haven't had any issues with any of my windows PCs in years. It's all in what the OP wants though. Some prefer OS and some Windows. I know which one I prefer...

I haven't had any issues with any of the previous XPS's I've owned, albeit my last one was a 9530 or whatever they called the Haswell quad model. Being completely honest, I'd go for either XPS over the MBA, but if OP was asking whether the 15" XPS vs MBP 16",or even the MBP 13" I'd have no hesitation to recommend the MBP16" over the 15" for being the superior machine in most ways, call it opinion, but performance is objective even if it demands a high price in that form factor, and recommending the 13" for it's ecosystem.
