My system has a number of extra partitions, of which some are Dell recovery related. They are:

    Image - 14.58 GB
    DELLSUPPO... - 1.15 GB
    WINRETOOLS - 0.99 GB

I don't mind keeping the smaller two but is the Image partition required for a fresh install? I would rather do that instead of relying on a restore point. Also how safe is it to delete and merge partitions on an SSD?

If possible just order the Dell Recovery media or USB for each of those system. It cost $$ but that way you don't have to worry how to restore them or recreate it again on a new HDD or SSD if you replace it. You can't merge the recovery partition it's kinda permanent and if it looks for it - it won't find it. Image partition is there to restore the drive but as I said it's alot easier to buy the REcovery media if you can still get them that will be a easier way to restore the system if you sell or upgrade the Drive. You can remove the REcovery partition but make sure you have the REcovery media before deciding upon doing that.

You can delete Image partition because most likely you can use dell tools to re-create factory defaults because OS version is too old than current one you have installed. You can keep Dell support and WINRE tools which are needed for ePSA and Windows recovery environment.

Nice, I was worried because the other two partitions are too small to do an install with.
