Hi guys, help me out with this one, please!

    1) What is your budget?

    600 euro (850 USD)

    2) What size notebook would you prefer?

    Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

    3) Where will you buying this notebook? You can select the flag of your country as an indicator.

    5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed?

    6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?

Photoshop, Lightroom, a bit of music making.

    7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?

Don't really need that much mobility.

    8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?

    9) How many hours of battery life do you need?

Don't really care, 2 hours is good enough

    12) Standard Resolutions: WXGA, HD, 720p
    Actual resolutions: 1280x800 and 1366x768
Offered on larger Netbooks and Notebooks up to 16"
Lower resolution screens offer big text and icons that are easy to read. Less stuff fits on the screen, which translates into more scrolling. Multiple windows can be worked with, though they may have to overlap some.

    13) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen?

    Don't really care.

    14) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you?

    Not that much.

    15) When are you buying this laptop?

    16) How long do you want this laptop to last?

    3 years.

    17) How much hard drive space do you need; 80GB to 640GB? Do you want a SSD drive?

    300GB +.

    18) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?

I'm basically choosing between Dell Inspiron 15R (i3, 4gb, 500gb), HP Probook 4520s (i3, 3gb, 320gb) and Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E15 (i3, 2gb, 500gb). Which one is the best of the lot? Is HP worth it for the better graphics? Is Dell's build quality much worse than HP's and Lenovo's? Is Lenovo maybe still the best choice despite low memory?

I'm open to other suggestions too! Thanks!

Either the HP or the Lenovo will be fine...Inspiron quality is a bit iffy...

If the Inspiron is the cheapest among these three and if it's going to stay on a desk all the time, then it's okay to get it. But if you move it frequently (even if you're just moving it within your house), it may not last very long and the ProBook or Thinkpad would probably be a better choice.

If you're using Photoshop and the like you're going to want to try and get a resolution higher than 1366x768, and just generally a better quality screen than any of those laptops have to offer.

Sager NP5160 Custom Laptop (Built on the Clevo W150HN)
Base price: $745, then upgrade to the 1920x1080 display and include Windows 7 (comes default without it) it comes to $896. I'm pretty sure you can buy this notebook in Europe as well.

Also, take a look at the XPS 15 and add the high quality B+RGLED 1920x1080 display. It'll probably still be within your budget if not close. The Dell XPS 15 also has awesome speakers.
