Yeah, I know people did it but there was no real confirmation of the brightness still working. I did find someone who confirmed it for me on Reddit so I will assume it will work.

I ordered the AUO IPS panel because that one seems to be compatible, has 97% sRGB coverage and has a lower response time of 25ms.

Correct but this is not for EU sales jet, and it will only be delivered with the GTX1050 (no GTX1050Ti) when you select the Intel setup or with the AMD Radeon™ RX 460 when you select the AMD setup

Hi sorry I didn't report back, i'm having a lot of work and no time to play with the new laptop :)

Yes the the 8265 is working nice, replacement was super easy, i'm using the driver from Dell for the moment. The connection show "733 mbps" but i'm getting 300mb on speedtest (i have a 1gigabit fiber connection).. I'm using both 2,4 ghz and 5 ghz wifi so probably the router cannot use 2 antennas to boost the speed on wifi.

Still deciding if update the driver to the last one instead of using Dell ones

How should I procede with a clean update? Should I download and extract the .inf from the exe file and update in Device Manager? or should I just run the Intel exe and let the installer take care of it?
Btw on the Intel site there are 2 files:
    • Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10
    • Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Software for Windows® 10
