Well that sucks. I don't have dell support in my country. Guess I'll have to change the paste and pads on my own. Disassembly of this laptop seems pretty hard thou, I'm afraid I'll break something :'( . Can you plz suggest me a good thermal pad and paste from AliExpress?

Does the 7577 come with the screws needed to install a 2.5 inch drive?
Or do you need to buy those separately

In the three units that I had (none had a hard drive from Dell) they all had the bracket, screws, and connector included.

Ah nice, ordered a 2tb hard drive (firecuda because it was on sale)
And I was curious if I needed to buy them separately, glad to see I don't.

Hey guys, been lurking on here a few weeks
Pulled the trigger on a dell outlet 7757 at a reasonable price

But it comes with a 1tb drive and not the m2 ssd

Was thinking of a complete fresh install anyway, if a buy the m2 ssd is it just as straight forward as installing it in the laptop then installing windows 10 on it ?

Is there any extra software/ drivers I need and/or any bios settings I need to adjust

Prob going to get a 500gb one as this will only have the OS and games on it
Any recommendations which ones to get ?

Really getting a buzz out of this puppy arriving :)

I had nothing but issues with an NVMe M.2 SSD (see the last page)

Still haven't figured out if it's the drive or the laptop itself

hmmmm thats a bummer, hope you get to the bottom of it, wish i had some advice, but new to these m2 drives, onyl advice i can give is have you check the bios settings incase anything needs changing ?

im not in any particular hurray to order it, since dell is in no particular hurray to despatch my outlet laptop, delivery date 08/06/2018 WTF!!!!

have emailed to complain for all the good it will do, but honestly, could have prob got a new one put together and delivered quicker !!!
