I was going through this thread and I just cant find a good answer:

What would be the best IPS panel as replacement? Or at least top3? (best means best colour accuracy)

Also, is it really the case that after replacement you cannot control the brightness, or is it only with 4k panels?

    Id appreciate feedback,

I asked the same question on page 95... Apparently it's the Official Samsung panel and only the 120hz screens don't work for brightness.

Yes, and they don’t void warranty for that. Infact you can change the WiFi card and storage as well without impacting warranty, you don’t even need to have the original drive/WiFi card/memory if you were to send it in for repair.

Pretty stoked as I just picked up one of these off the Walmart deal, should be here Wednesday. Only thing I wish it had was a 7200rpm drive.

    Replacing an MSI i7-4700 with a 960m.

    Someone please crosscheck this:
If i enter my service tag on dell's website, it eetects for a 7559 instead of 7577. Any issue due to that?

That's weird... Are you using the same support page from the country you bought the 7577 from?

You should be able to easily replace the SATA HDD with either a 7200 rpm HDD or a SATA SSD, depending on how deep your pockets are! That WM deal is very nice.

Are you using the support page in the country you purchased the laptop from? Or maybe you have the 7559 instead of the 7577... 7559 has 6th gen processor and 960M graphics card.
