Didn't see a thread on this little laptop so figure I'd start one and put up some random thoughts.

This laptop is a very solid feeling unit. I purchased it for my wife to see if she would like the 2-in-1 vs her XPS 9350 and I am impressed with the look and feel of it. It's not much bigger than the XPS and feels equally solid.

The screen is very nice, I would say it looks as good if not better than the XPS.

It's little quad core i5-8250u is a darn speedy CPU. After a quick undervolt (100mv) and a repaste it is able to run at 2.4-2.5ghz Prime95 small FFTs for hours.

The touchpad and keyboard feel great, equal to the XPS for sure. The wife actually likes the touchpad on the 7373 better but I don't know if I'd go that far.

I replaced the sata m.2 drive with a SM951 that I had laying around and it works like a charm. The wife would never know the difference but I wasn't using it.

Battery life is still to be seen. I don't know why dell didn't put a bigger battery in it (although I'm sure it would cut into their XPS sales), otherwise this would probably be the perfect small laptop (well no thunderbolt though).

Oh yeah, the speakers are pretty darn good. Much better than my XPS 9560 for sure.

If anyone has questions about it, I'd be happy to answer them.

Lol and of course I copy and pasted the title and edited it and didn't notice that Inspiron was misspelled. If a mod could update the title I would appreciate it.

Its a great notebook for sure...My little 5000 series 2 in 1 is great for budget minded people too!!! paired with the 24" infinityedge touchscreen on my desk, it's an all in one beast!!! I changed the drive and ram in mine and it's fast, lightweight and very nice to use overall.

Yeah I'm really impressed with the quality of it. I had a Inspiron 7347 and this is leaps and bounds better than it. The 8th gen quad core is fast too. They really need to get their xps 2-in-1 up to snuff with the new CPU.

I am thinking the xps line will be revamped very soon. I am actually thinking they are going to go "surface book" type device with them as well! The inspirons are great devices for the price, I agree 100 percent!

Nice curious see how your battery life is. I have the older Dell Inspiron 13 D7378 i7 7500U, 16GB, 512GB SSD model which provides around 4.5-5.5hrs or 5-6.5hrs on battery saver mode.

So the wife plays with it more than I but battery life seems to be 6-7 hours.

I may try running PC Mark on it to see what it measures battery life at...
