This looks pretty sick. Hopefully prices are sensible since this series has always aimed for budget. I also hoping the cooling has been updated to handle 8950hk and rtx. If i remember correctly, throttling was an issue in the G5 and G7.

I just hope the 4Core i5-8300H CPU will be available also with the biggest GPU, so might I will see higher clock speeds than with 6Core CPU.

They look really good, I'm not a fan of ridges on the case like the Aero 15 laptops but this somehow pulls it off., power plug at the back is nice too. No manual fan curve etc sucks though so meh, a shame since the previous models had good battery life too and would be good for college etc.

Why is a laptop actually cheaper than a desktop? I was calculating a desktop with Geforce 2080, processor, fan, house, monitor just to say a few components and will be lot expensiver than this Dell.

Lowest skew might just have the 4 core intel with a high end graphics card. Wait and see till we get all the configuration prices. I'd image the 2080 config would be closer to $2k.

So it seems the new G series takes over the old AW 15R/17R laptops and fills the spot pretty nicely.
I’ll definitely be keeping on eye on this series .
