I will check also to see what bios version is on my 9570. I also just installed a Netgear 6250 router/ modem. But still experiencing some range and speed inconsistency.

I am going to trouble shoot router position next.

Fixed router position and all drivers are updated...killer wifi, bios and fresh install of win 10 with current 1803 update. Still poor performance.

So my resolution to all the issues I am having....Returing this laptop! Numerous BSODs, Dell unable to fix wifi issue and quiet frankly their tech support is horrible. I really wanted to keep this thing but I have spent more time troubleshooting then actually usuing it for what I bought it for.

Did you ever get a new router instead of the known bad one?

Yes I put in a new router (Netgear C6250) and no improvement. Actually, that router ended up being worse ...so that is going back as well. I think what pushed me to the edge to send this one back was all of the random shutdowns and BSODs...and Dell not wanting to do anything about it accept charge me more money to look into it. I understand if I had the laptop for a month or so and then issues start showing up...:but less than a few days of receiving it and nothing but issues.

Makes sense. Sucks you've had issues, was really hoping the router was the cause. What are you considering next?

Well I talked myself into giving it a 3rd and final shot with a 9570 I9. I have since returned the Netgear C6250 and put in an Orbi which is awesome! Now I will know the wifi issues are not on my end. Once the new machine arrives I am hoping for the best with wifi and now BSODs.
