    That and only using a very small amount. The contact with the IHS should be REALLY good.

    Hi all, so my delid/relid kit came today. Still awaiting some CLU I ordered. I'm going to post some pictures of the process once the material arrives. Been slow posting and updating due to the birth of my son :D

    Tony, thermal pads wise look for Phobya XT pads on eBay... A German seller sells them and they're good too... Prices and shipping is very reasonable...

    The XT pads are quite firm and not very sticky so you have to be very precise for fit and placement.

    Thanks for the info on the pads guys. My CLU arrived today. I'm just waiting for some time to do benches and take some pictures of the system before it is delidded so I can take more after and see if theres a noticeable difference. Hoping to get it done this weekend. Going to leave the pads for now so they don't affect testing.
