    Hey guys,

So I got a genuine MSI GS60 battery to replace my current one, as it was showing signs of wear. I removed the battery, reinstalled the new one, and tried turning on my laptop, but got nothing. If I plug in my AC adapter, then the laptop will function normally, but it says my battery is disconnected.

I tried putting in my old battery as well, but now that one says it's not connected either.

    Help please!

Check the wire and make sure that both positive and negative are still connected to the PCB.

I would reach out to where ever you purchased the battery for a replacement, because the new battery could just be a bad battery as well.

MSI would not allow purchase of GS60 battery so you will actually be asked to ship the system in for repair whether it's under warranty or not.
