I left my key in the accessory position for 48 hours, now it is totally dead (no start, no lights). I have hooked up my 2/10/50 AMP charger and set it on 10 AMP to charge. Once I get it started should I take the car to the dealer and have the battery checked? It is a 1 year old interstate battery. Thanks for any advice.
this is the first time this happened.

Thanks Hearst, I did a 2 amp charge overnight (I ran the car 1/2 hour yesterday with no problems) and will head for garage today

Since the battery is not that old you may get away with just a standard charge via the alternator. Though it doesn't hurt to give it a crank check with a multimeter to make sure the battery is OK. This video here is a good example though I think there are garages out there who can perform this check up for free.
