Someone in my office just bought a Dell D820 - wow - nice!

I am downloading some benchmark programs to test it out, but my initial impression is "wow". Dell has improved over the past years... Now, I bought a Asus (coming tomorrow) but if I don't like that Asus this Dell looks darn good!

So, for those wondering about it - just ask me...

Do you know which processor, video card and display it had? Was it the highest resolution WUXGA display or a lower res version? I'd love to know what you thought of the display, the brightness and sharpness and the general over all build quality.

The D series dells are pretty nice its prob the only dell line i think is nice along with the XPS. THe only comment i can say about the D820 is its heavy compared to other 15.4 in notebooks. But its solid.

He has the 1.66Duo, 2GB RAM, and a 1680x1050 display.

    Overal build quality - great
    No screen flex
24FPS in Aquamark 3D (so not a gaming computer)
Good brightness and sharpness. Images in IE looked bad, but Windows and Firefox looked good.
