It does work :p but i think i found the solution to your problem... are you using a windows xp cd sp1?

if so you need to use windows cd sp2 and then follow the remainder of the instructions..that should work...i will edit the procedure so that it will say windows xp sp2 cd.

its to do with the pci-express slot i believe

    heres
    some more info on it

I have that problem with undetected HDD drive when i try to install XP after Vista on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 1536. Where I can find the s`ata driver to make that XP CD with nLite or WinFuture XP-Iso-Builder?

hello, I am trying to follow the instructions of method 2 and got one question. is everything at point 3 written correctly? I am refering to this line:

    C:\CDImages\DriversPack\DriversPack\

after extracting dp Base in there, however, I get a folder called driverpackS!

Should I make a new folder called driverpack or can I extract the dp-Mass in:

    C:\CDImages\DriversPack\DriversPacks\ ?

it should be fine to download the dp-mass into that folder it created (i.e driverpackS!)...if it created that folder like that then place it in there..(could be to do with a new software)

if you keep reading on the method...at 5.2 you select what you driverpacks you want to slipstream...you will know if you have put it in the right folder because because it will detect it there and only let you tick the driver packs that it has detected (i.e the ones put in the right folder)...

also if it works and you install xp fine then plz do comment to let ppl know it works...

and also forgot to mention and will edit the main guide now that this method needs an xp cd sp2 (with service pack 2)

and if you have problems plz let me know so i can try to help :)

Used this method to get my Fujitsu Amilo 1505 to detect its new HDD, and pleased to say worked a treat.

Used XP MCE which is 2 cd's, nLite asked for the 2'nd cd when compiling info but i were a little worried when it came to burning the ISO which at this point was 877mb, aka - too big. Unsure what to do , i used a blank dvd-r and burned image , and nLite was happy to oblige :)

So managed to sort the Amilo and condense my 2cd MCE to 1 DVD @ the same time.

Thanks very much guys, u saved my bacon :)

    Thanks for this wonderfull tutorial

i am trying to slipstream my via raid driver since 3 months and burned abt 50+ cds with msfn trick :(
but i must say ur step by step tutorial is so easy that even a noob can make it with ease

u know when i burnt and tried am surprised that it wont ask for flopy(before with msfn trick it says viaraid.sys not found)

    mate realy a wonerfull tutorial..................

i need to know some other questions.
like can i use nlite after raid slipstream coz i need to integrate hotfixes and some other addons in my cd

and other thing i wanna know how can i integrate all the driver pack :)

i wanna make a xp with all the drivers and softwares in it....

    but again one question

when i integrate driver pack in xp it size may exceed with 300 mbs so it wud be around 1 gb....

but i want to burn that iso in cd only
coz i dont have dvd writer:(

don tell me to split them with winrar coz it wont work i tried

i wanna know how to split any os which is bigger than 700 mbs
see i ve some games which comes in dvd format
but shop keeper splited them for cd so that when 1cd part ends it asks for 2cd (insert 2nd cd to continue)

i need this command to come on window which ask me to insert the cd with volume number...
i know am asking too much
but u r realy genius and u ve the answer definately

    thanking u
    indyan
