CPU heatsink pressure - Razer 15 2018 ?

    Do you have any problem of heatsink pressure on cpu die or not ?

    I had. I have put a 0.5mm shim between die and hs and my temps went down by at least 10c

    Thank you for tour answer. I will try 2 graphite pads 0,2 +0,2 tais afternoon.

    It s very strange. I have good pression on gpu. I gain 5c with screws exchange. But cpu is over 92c in cpu test of 3dmarks. LM + graphite pad.

    I will buy copper 0,5mm and 0,2mm for test.

    Which graphite pad did you end up going for ? Would be good to get more info as the IC Graphite thread varies between so many different results.
    Can't wait for copper results. Maybe the graphite shims were too thin?

    I would prefer graphite pad than LM for tests.

    becareful with graphete, they are electronically conductive. I do not recommend them to use those on stuff like VRM's or memory chips.
