I recently had heat issues with my old thinkpad that used to be very cool. It is also exceptionally heavy and old, so I'm thinking of getting a new laptop. I am looking for a laptop that would be very cool - even if that means the performance suffers a bit. Should also be portable in terms of weight (a very light 15' would probably be ok for me).

I need HDMI. And would be happy to have at least 3 usb ports (but that can be solved with an adapter I guess).

    Thank you!

Lenovo Ideapad 720s, Asus Zenbook UX430, Dell Inspiron 7000 13.3"/15". If you're willing to stretch your budget a bit, consider going for the Thinkpad T480 (14") or the T580 (15").
