Well I know this is the automotive section, but you do know that sentence extends to more than just cars right? The Germans have plenty of companies that provide many products & services which are considered quite good in terms of quality.

Someone in my town has a new Porsche 911 Turbo S, and it's very nice. That's probably the one I'd buy if I were in the market for a Porsche. (Small town, don't see many.)

Plenty of Porsches here in Rockville/Potomac, where your average home is ~1.2 million dollars and 4-10 million dollar homes aren't rare at all. Saw a GT2 speeding away a few years ago, blew right through the intersection at easily 120.

This guy has probably just figured out that 911s are a dime a dozen (and is being treated as such), although most of the dealers in CT have pretty stellar ratings as far as I can find.

No surprised there, Porsche realize how badly not refunding the purchase can hurt their reputation. And the fact he was ready to go on national TV/radio, Porsche I think realize how bad and how quick it could backfire.

Will you stop it? Everyone already knows that you are in love with Japanese cars and that you think they are so superior to everything else. Give it a rest already.

Clearly you haven't seen German cars in America, their quality is quite lacking. German made German cars are quite good, not the VW made in Mexico for the US market.

Still, your Japanese car fanboyism is getting rather annoying. At first it was cute, but now you just spam all the automotive threads with the exact same stuff we have heard from you over and over.
