    Hi !
I just installed Comodo Firewall on my G50+Win7 x64, and the system scan founds something like a trojan :
    C:\Windows\System32\rpcnetp.exe
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\rpcnetp.exe
    C:\Windows\System32\rpcnetp.dll

After further research, these components could be part of Computrace's LoJack software, located in the BIOS and used to trace stolen laptops.

Do you know if this software is really embedded in G50 ? I never installed this, and my Win7 is fresh (formated/installed 1 week ago). I'm really wondering if this is a true or false positive...

    Any help appreciated ! :D

The BestBuy models come with a free year of LoJack, and according to Computrace the software is installed at the BIOS level.

I'm not sure about the European models though.
