definatley agree with Sam and azntfl..do you have any IT people around ya or a Geek Squad have them totally take care of it for you. Unless you know how to compeletely format your system. Try an antivirus program first. NOD32 or Mcafee are pretty darn good. Our IT at the college used NOD How did you get a virus anyways. I had one on my Dell (no other problems iwth Dell except that) and there was some software i downloaded from a site i thought was good..guess not..LOL. and you don't get viruses from gaming unless your doing it online. anyways good luck. hope you get it fixed.

Can I get a virus by gaming legally, buying the game then playing online on servers, like cs and bf2? And is any type of gaming bad for your comp because a long time ago I had a comp that died from gaming, it had 16mb of ram, 150mhz processor, and a 1.5gb harddrive.

gaming should not cause viruses unless ur playing on servers hosted by individuals who make u dwnld stuff b4 entering like in Counter Strike 1.6, but most of the time no one really tries to virus ur comp. What u should do b4 formatting completely is you can download a great antivirus for free, its called Avast Anti-Virus. You can dwnld it for free, all you need to do is sign up for the home edition and they send you a 6month cd-key, which u can renew everhy 6 months. So either this or formatting should solve your problem.
    Hope this helped :)
