I have not, I'll give it a try once I get the time. Currently working on helping friends with their memory overclocking atm.

As for screens, I have been looking at this: h̶t̶t̶p̶s̶:̶/̶/̶w̶w̶w̶.̶l̶a̶p̶t̶o̶p̶s̶c̶r̶e̶e̶n̶.̶c̶o̶m̶/̶E̶n̶g̶l̶i̶s̶h̶/̶s̶c̶r̶e̶e̶n̶-̶p̶a̶r̶t̶-̶n̶u̶m̶b̶e̶r̶/̶B̶1̶5̶6̶H̶A̶N̶0̶4̶.̶0̶~̶H̶W̶1̶A̶/̶

This is the exact same 120hz IPS panel used in both the EVGA SC15 and Asus Zephyrus. I just don't know if the website or pricing is legit.

EDIT: I was wrong. The exact model EVGA and ASUS use is the B156HAN04.2, not 4.0. Disregard that link.

Yeah, that .2 naming can make quite a difference. You could try emailing them and asking if they can get it.

If you can OC the screen to around 100hz I might take a bite at this machine considering it's so cheap. I kind of wish it had a 1060 but for the price it's astonishing value even if it's half BGA. At least one can reuse the CPU / RAM if a newer shell comes out.

The upcoming N850KP6 is supposed to have a 1060.

@MageTank ... did you get a chance to see what you could OC the display to?

I managed to get 76hz out of mine before anomalies started to appear on screen. However, I am having a difficult time with NVCP. I cannot tell if I am dealing with a hybrid Optimus setup or not, as half my options go missing at random times. I might try EDID flashing this panel to see if I can circumvent Nvidia's drivers, to get it to run higher native.

Does Optimus run on LGA? I thought that was reserved for BGA CPU's.
    76hz isn't too bad.
