I have decided to create a separate thread for anyone, who may be interested in my utility.

This is a small standalone tray utility for setting up and saving/restoring LED backlight settings.

No any "Clevo Control Center" or "Obsidian" software is required for it to work independently with your KB LED settings.

The program works with your laptop's EC via native clevomof.dll library for EC management for Clevo laptops by sending WMI calls.

Initially it was designed to complement "Obsidian" Keyboard LED utility, which is missing P870TM1 Cover backlight LED settings and due to annoying blue default color of this LED.
And of course - to forget the horrors of original CLEVO CCC package once and for all.
But after some additional coding, all available functions related to backlight from original CCC were implemented.

Can work together with CCC or any of Obsidian Utilities, however preferably without Obsidian Keyboard LED, as it may conflict with it (and what is the point?)

    Software tested and works on:

    P870XX - P870TM, P870KM, P870DMx
    P775XX – P775TM, P775DMx

    HOTKEYS description:
    • CTRL + NUMPAD / - Cycle KB Timeout setting (0-30min)
    • CTRL + NUMPAD * - Enable/Disable KB LED (and cover LED on P870XX)
    • CTRL + NUMPAD - - Reduce LED intensity
    • CTRL + NUMPAD + - Increase LED intensity
    • CTRL + NUMPAD 0 – Disable Cover LED (only for P870XX)
    • CTRL + NUMPAD . – Cycle Cover LED preset colors (only for P870XX)

    Where to get?

Disclaimer: This is not official software and you use it at your own risk.
Also this is alpha-test version, pre-release, any may contain tons of bugs, as i am no professional C# software developer.

Any input, code suggestions, fixes, test report are always welcome.

    Hi,
Do I understand correctly that with the utility I can set the cover's color? I skip CCC, so I puke from the green 870dm3 topcase color :)

Yes, you understand correctly) You can skip CCC and use just this app for full control of LEDs (including cover LED for p870xx) and Obsidian fan control for fans.

It still has some bugs with gui, but already fully usable

I was using them too, but absence of cover LED control made me do, what i did) If you like it and works for you without issues - you can skip KB app from Obsidian.

I was looking for help from any c# experienced programmer, but had to dig everything myself and that is result)
