After a long search i can now buy a gtx 980m kit for clevo p750dm in india without need of importing from abroad with 1 year warranty for cost of 62000 INR APPROX 920 USD...It includes heatsink for clevo xbrackets and thermal pads
In india clevo are sold as azom laptops
it has 1 year warranty also but warranty aint covered if it is incompatible with my alienware 17 ranger...they accept no returns if it is incompatible
So my big question will it work in my alienware 17 ranger ? currently with a gtx 765m...i can get 100w heatsink and 330w charger from dell india

Still you will need an X-bracket. Other than that you got everything covered.

Don't forget no W7 without Optimus.

CLEVO and AW X-brackets use different screws, so make sure they send the screws for the corresponding bracket cuz you can't use yours.

And yes W10 can be run in dedicated mode.

I am not familiar with GTX765, but when you get the card you can check if it matches but most probably it won't.

And as far as my machine goes, you can use any Nvidia driver you like.

Interestingly enough I never got to overclock my GTX980m and actually I am running it heavily undervolted at 0.981V.

    Don't tempt me. :D

Yes I am running 120Hz so no optimus for me, brother @Ashtrix I believe used W10 with 60Hz and no optimus.
