Hello i have an issue with my clevo its overheating alot when playing games and it throttles within 2minutes of gaming, i have tried everything and i seriously need an unlocked vbios for my 880m to underclock it and deal better with the temps its really frustrating since i cant do anything about it and its annoying to have your game crashing or dropping frames each time it throttles. please help me with that the problem is starting to annoy me really hard..

    thanks in advance

Make sure that the contact between the GPU core/Memory/ETC and the heatsink is right and good. This card run hot anyway.

it is really good i made sure that the screws are tightened really well and they are not loose and that there is no shakes or rattles and im using MX 4 for the paste so i will just try undervolting it a little to prevent the quick overheating, thank you so much again

Check the thermal pads for the memory and other components. Then go for undervolting using MSI Afterburner.

    Edit:
After installing reinstalling windows/ flashing a modded bios and reinstalling nvidia drivers i reached 92 again in Furmark but after 5minutes so its good compared to the 1minute i was getting before throttling

i run now gta 5 with high settings and vsync on at a stable 60fps and a stable 75-85C with a undervolting of -30mv in afterburner

it runs at a stable 80ish Degree C at 80 per cent fan speed and it runs at 83 to 85 at auto fan profile

I would not use a power virus like furmark on your machine, it's not suitable for any notebook. Something like 3dmark vantage extreme on loop is a safer option.
