There is a MSI 1070 used consistently over the past 2 years for upgrading which has a bigger pcb requiring a case mod to fit but which is a high quality board.

The standard rectangle pcb 1070 does not but one of them you'd want to buy is relatively recent thing (early ones had dodgy vrms and either failed or were sold with a 90W power limit and MaxQ-1070 underclock, sometimes not disclosed to buyers)

Yeah i saw it, but i am just wondering, wouldent you go around the "problem" just getting a used p4200 or p5000? they seem similar in performance to 1070 and 1080?

Quadro cards can be a bit more finicky about running but often can be a reasonable option depending on price.

So long as the heatsink fits then it would work.
