    Some games still take this long to install lol. Not counting downloading. The average user has 20MBPS internet so we have to wait for download too.

    Back then you had to wait that long each time you wanted to play, there was nothing to install it to.

    Firestrike run. This thing gets down for a 15” laptop!

    I was so close at breaking 22,000 Physics score. I was at 21,882 lol. Probably closing out Clevo control or MSI monitoring would’ve put me there haha. Or disabling windows AV, or maybe even disabling Windows defender for that matter..

    You could listen to the music of the 1541 drive singing.
    Now if you were unlucky enough to have a Datasette in the Pre-1541 days (or couldn't afford a 1541 or a video game cartridge, yes...the C64 had a cartridge port too!), well.... :)

    We had the bbc micro as my mum was a teacher. Though a lot of our programs were on book... that you typed in yourself. None of this fancy storage media stuff :p (we did have the tape drive too ;) )
