I use the lineup in my .sig to establish stability. If my laptops and desktop can pass them, I haven't met anything that it can't run. I mean, if I want a useless heat box I can always run P95 29.X small FFT and warm my computer
    room. :)

Now that AVX has been added and upgraded, I find RealBench 2.56 to be one of the bigger soul crushing benches and it is the only one during a 15 min run to peg some big OC's to thermal throttle.

If it's unstable, Prime95 will crash it. It's great for finding instability and beating the snot out of your VRM's. But I wouldn't run it on a laptop, I'd rather run Blender or Corona.
I only use this machine for benching/gaming, so there is only so much stability testing involved (CB15). If you do rendering or any type of critical work, you should prioritize stability.
But running Prime95 on these machines will throttle them into thermal oblivion, unless you run very modest clocks.

Usually hovers around the high 80’s at 5Ghz and will spike in the very low 90’s every now and then during long long BFV sessions.

I am on vacation from work, and it has been running all day long like this. BFV has been open and running for about 12 hours haha.

I never use prime 95. Never cared for it very much. I like a combination of things, I’ll run Kombustor cpu stress with standard intel burn test together. This combination seems to crash a system fairly quickly and it won’t pull some crazy wattage that is unrealistic. if it makes it past this, then BFV is next actual in game.

Im all for benching for high numbers, but nothing like running your dream OC daily!

This still seems high though. At 4.3Ghz stock all core -0.200 undervolt 100% stable I’m around 61 watts

R15 was right at 1,417? With 0.900 V-Core load. I’m very familiar with this setup. It is incredible. Pretty certain I got it over 1,400 in R15 with under 60 watts too before with -220 undervolt. It’s the 5Ghz (1) core boost that’ll crash the system with to much undervolting. So, if I ran all 6 cores at only 4Ghz like @Papusan I could probably undervolt like -250+ and draw some crazy crazy low wattage.

I agree. I do use Prime95 26.6 since it doesn’t use AVX and it is one of my top testers to peg CPU load. I could use 29.x and disable AVX but it’s basically the same thing. I ended up removing 29.x from my stability list in my sig for laptops as AVX enabled is insane even on my desktops with much better cooling.

Try giving RealBench 2.56 a 15 minute stress test and see how your laptops handle it and where you land.
