These laptops don't really have a fixed voltage.
"Override" mode is simply offset mode with the VID re-programmed via Serial VID somehow to the "override" value, and a 0mv offset (Otherwise, changing AC Loadline would have no effect on the CPU voltages and heat/power).

The only desktop motherboard that I have seen that allows the serial VID to be re-programmed is the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme, which has a BIOS setting called "CPU Internal Voltage", which reprograms the CPU VID, and CPU Vcore is another setting. None of the other Gigabyte boards have this setting.

If you push the memory too high, you'll actually score worse due to ECC.

A good trick is to run the benchmark at, +200/400/600/800 etc. too see when scores begin to drop, then fine tune for max frequency.
My old scores w/ 8086k and 1080 in the p775tm1, non-unified heatsink, for comparison

I got some messages regarding 9900KS. A month ago we did some testruns on a P8 and the of-the-shelf chip hit about the same wall for benching as the 9900K in the 5.2Ghz region, but with a little less voltage. It didn't wanna run at 5.3Ghz.
The thing is that the clock for clock results are a little lower compared to a "pre-R0" 9900K with disabled security patches due to the inbuilt hardware level security patches of the R0 stepping, which includes all 9900KS.

The CPU graph is looking fine (was not looking for scores here ;) ).
Please run something in the background to record a CPU clock graph while playing BF.
I assume that it's not holding up the 5Ghz in that heavier CPU load scenario and that's why you are seeing GPU utilization drops during that game.
