I think the best ever score I managed was 2251 and I forgot if I had realtime priority on or off.
No LGA laptop can beat Papusan's score.

Hey everyone I have a P750TM1-G coming in the mail. I’ve got a 8086K delidded, with GTX1080 with the 144HZ G-Sync panel. I am looking to really squeeze out every drop of frame rates from ultimate smoothness.

it only has DDR4 2400 installed, and I’d like to run DDR4 3200 at the bare minimum honestly.

I’m having a tough time finding much info on memory overclocking on these type of laptops. I know the information is out there though lol.

is it possible to squeeze ddr4 3,600 with manual overclocking? Maybe just DDR4 3400 even?

or should I just purchase the 3200 cas 16 kit and run XMP ?

Congratulations and welcome to this power brick owners x)
If you're lucky, you can push even that memory to 3200m like I (almost) did. I've done it using googled info about desktop overclock, it's not different here. If no luck, grab some faster kit and try again, it's apparently possible to have 3400.
Just consider that motherboard and ram capabilities are probably bad by desktop standards, so it'll clock lower than you'd expect from similar desktop.

I’ll try overclocking this memory. Is there Samsung B die in certain SODIMM DDR4 kits too?

I know the intel 8086K could probably DDR4 4,500 lol. But yeah the motherboard is the question here for sure.

This. RAM overclocking is a PITA, and for a rock solid 24/7 daily driver, you’re not gonna get much faster than that with manual tuning on these motherboards anyway.

Most likely the limiting factor in how far you can push your chassis, will be the quality of traces on the motherboard.
Most p775/p870 boards can do 3000/3200Mhz from what I've seen. While only a handful of people here have done 3400Mhz and only one has done 3700Mhz.

Corsair Vengeance 4000Mhz sodimm's have B-Die IC's. While getting them to run spec is highly unlikely, they will do quite good timings at lower speeds, ie. CL14 at 3333Mhz.

But from a price to performance point a view, a 3200Mhz kit is hard to beat.

speaking of so-dimm RAM and high speeds ;)

i just saw that crucial introduced 32 GB sticks rated at 3200 mhz, now aint that interesting? ;)

64 GB kit with two sticks going for 340€ / 375 USD in Germany :)

heads up, folks! higher speed 32 GB So-Dimms incoming! Pretty sure that Corsair and G.Skill won't let a Ram-"Nobody" like Crucial take the lead for long ;)

Crucial is the commercial arm of micron basically IIRC so while tongue in cheek they are the only one directly backed by a manufacturer of those 3 :p

true, but: the 32GB samsung so-dimms available before were only able to max out at 2933 (tested by john and others here). so thats a step up, plus stock timings can ALWAYS be tightened :) so im guessing CL19-20 is doable, basically same timings as sammy 32GB stock but 3200 vs. 2933 mhz. its actually quite nice at such high memory density!
