You don't need a cpu score to place.

Figured I'd post some results of my new PB51RF-G with 9980HK. Yeh I know it's BGA, but it's doing a pretty damn good job IMO. Pulling these kinds of scores/temps in a 15" chassis, not much larger than my old P650, is still quite the accomplishment. Paste is ICD (standard from Metabox). I may change over to Conductonaut when a repaste is needed in the future.

So far I have pushed it to 4.5ghz all-core in R15 at ~1.28V with -110mv undervolt which I haven't touched all that much. R20 hits my set power limit so I'll have to push that some more.
Highest temp so far is 85C after a dozen or so consecutive runs.

I'm not entirely sure what the VRM is rated for, but I'm hoping I can crack the 2000 mark at 4.7ghz which should basically put it at the same level as a stock un-throttled 9900K.

Did you guys try an older build of windows 10 (like 2016 LTSB or 2015 LTSB)? Maybe it's an issue with the newer builds like @Papusan said

    Could also try Windows 8.1

To add to my previous post, here's a Cinebench R20 run with things set to 4.5ghz (actual = 4.3ghz):

    upload_2019-6-24_17-45-44.png

I'm only hitting 4.3ghz in this run and a lower wattage (~125W) which I assume is AVX related in R20?

EDIT: Just for a giggle. Bumped the PL to 140W, set multiplier to 46 and ran R15 and hit 85C:

I will test it with Windows 7, Windows 10 1709 and 1803 and see what happens. But, I could have told everyone that Windows 10 sucks without having to run 3DMark 03 or 05, or any other benchmark to confirm that. Windows 10 is just a piece of excrement OS no matter what version you choose to run.

Yup, 1000% Windoze OS X Cancer Feces problem. Check it out... 0-2 FPS with the feces OS. @Prema @Falkentyne. Absolutely rubbish... but, we already knew this. No testing required. Even the GPU tests were worse, but the CPU test is truly horrible, as it almost always is the case with W10.
