    Hello,
fast and a simple question. Can I remove from the Wifi slot card the physical wifi card and replace it with M.2 ssd?
I am attaching a picture where I circled 2 slots with 2 hard drives. I would like to add third hard drive. Just wondering if it could pass tho.
    Thanks.

They use a different key type (where the notch is) so it won't really physically fit.

Umm I have read some time ago that it could be possible, but I have lost this article so asking here. I will re-check if the slot fits tho.
Still waiting for some ideas if possible.

No, it's keyed differently and would suck due to poor bandwidth if you could.

Then you will need a physical adaptor of some sort.

The question is will I short to the ground something? Is it risky or not.

You would need an adaptor physically and electriclaly.

The WWAN slot usually only has USB interface, because most modems just use USB.
You can use something like this(but not this one, because the keying will prevent you from mounting it):

And then make a mount in the HDD zone, but you will be limited to PCIe1x, so just buy a SATA SSD, you can buy some "cheap" 4TB enterprise ones for around 200-400$ on eBay.
