Clevo M765su Will not boot

    Hello Guys
    My first post on this forum hopefully someone can help
    I`m trying to repair a Clevo M765su notebook it will not boot at all not even into BIOS all that happens is CD/DVD drive spins but will not load any disks, recovery ,boot disks etc got it into BIOS once but just frozen (CD/DVD drive set as first boot device) i`ve not had this problem before

    Yea no one has. I think maybe its the precursor to the m860tu.

    You should try removing all of your components and testing them separately.

    Sounds like this was the Sager NP7650 o 7652 equivalent. I would try removing and try each Ram Module by itself. If you have a spare processor it could be the culprit also. It should boot with only RAM and CPU installed.

    Hello Guys
    I got the model number from the plate on the base thanks for your replies i`m guessing you mean break system down remove HDD CD/DVD drive etc and try that I was thinking BIOS was corrupted and was going to remove mobo battery ?? I will give your advice a try first thanks

    thanks for your reply although I can`t get it to boot at all is there a key combo to update BIOS as I know on some mobo/laptops this is possible? I`ve always thought it was a BIOS issue but can`t get in far enough to flash
