Strong gaming notebook shipments boost Clevo June revenues
    https://www.digitimes.com/news/a20180710PD202.html
Robust gaming notebook sales boosted Clevo's June revenues by 83.2% on year and 25.59% on month to reach NT$2.02 billion (US$65.95 million), while combined consolidated revenues for the first half of 2018 also grew 18.78% on year to arrive at NT$8.61 billion.

Clevo shipped 1.27 million notebooks in 2017, flat from a year ago, and it expects the shipments to rise to 1.5 million units in 2018. Clevo shipped 360,000 units in the first quarter of 2018, up 13% on year with the increase mainly coming from Asia Pacific markets.

Because of rising raw material and component quotes, Clevo also faces shrinking profits from the notebook product line and is now pushing development of models with niche specifications and high margins, hoping to find a new source of income.

Clevo is currently a major manufacturing partner of many of China's top-10 gaming notebook brands. As demand for gaming notebooks is expected to pick up during China's National Day holidays in October, most of Clevo's brand partners are set to start building up their inventories in August.

Clevo's notebook shipments also grew over 30% on year in the first half of 2018.

This is really interesting, very strange that we didn't hear any of this information from our resellers.

    OLED panels are amazing :)
may be 18.4" panel for 17" models for having slim bezel too?

If they're planning this then they should convince nvidia to release a TI or Titan level single gpu solution for laptops without the garbage maxq technology

Why not both depending on the design of the machine?
