Clevo Bios older models (released in/after 2014)

    Double-check the heatsink seating. Bad contact can cause this, small adjustments to the heatsink and/or thermal pads can correct it.

    If it's an electrical/electronic issue of some kind, you might need to talk with your seller. :\

    I assume you checked all the fans are spinning normally?

    Yes, the laptop reboots after few seconds that the fans started to spin. It seems like an unwanted panic mode since the CPU and GPU temperature are well within their range. I ve also tried to cool everything from an external method (cold air) but it doesn't change anything

    My laptop got same thing and was faulty graphic card.

    A bad video card will certainly cause the EC to panic like that.

    @symy17 Check with your seller about both, especially the BIOS. You can also get drivers from Clevo's site or the likes of Intel, NVidia, etc.

    So clevo official suport nvidia gtx 980?

    Not on the P170SM, no. You'll need to obtain the driver from NVidia, if not a modified driver (or modify it on your own).

    So just modify drivers and stock bios will work good.. No need modded bios
