You can try an EC reset: turn the laptop off, remove battery, charger, and CMOS battery. Leave it off for a few minutes, and press the power button a few times to drain the electrical charge. Then reinsert the battery and AC adapter.

You can find the latest versions of bios and EC in the first page.

I've removed everything.. cleaned the mobo.. still no change ..
I see the stock Bios doesn't have fan controls... A Prema one have something (from what I've seen on youtube) , right?

The Prema bios adds the function to set max speed for both fans (fn+9) and, if I remember correctly, the fan thresholds are changed.
Both stock and Prema don't have fan controls in the bios settings.

I've put BIOS V1.02.17 and still no fix . It should remain a HW problem ... if there is no way that some settings-crashes from HWiNFO to remain after firmware update...

You could try if the clevo control center or clevo control app works on your model. Just download the newest version (5.0001.1.33) from the clevo homepage...you will have to choose a newer p-model (i think p9something) and download from the asian server....this program should let you choose fan-speeds

Interesting idea with a CC app from a newer device (sice for the old ones they don't provide any more support but it could be the same direction for compatibility) .
Though is not responding to teh program :((

..curious that.. the GPU goes up to 70gr.C and then soowly spins , I can count the revolutions with the eyes :)) . And soon after 70 is a shutdown ..maybe because the CPU starts to heat up also 'to put more speed to the fan ( the fans stop like a brake and is like in cartoons.. oo-ohh ; 2 sec. after : like somebody unplugged from the mains , no more laptop =)) )

70°C actually isn't much for a laptop, I don't think it shuts off because of the temperature...maybe it tries to spin up the fan, somehow fails and then (to protect itself from getting hotter without being able to cool itself down) shuts off because of this error....but i'm really not an expert

Exactly! That's my feeling also.. but what it is? :))

Edit: how can I reach a Prema Bios ?
    Edit II :

In Bios says P170EMx .. as I'd expect..

.. but the strange part [for me] is.. why in RWeverything says P150HM ?

Either the program falsly claims it's a 150hm or someone flashed a p170em bios on a p150hm (not likely....might not even be possible)....just turn around the laptop and look at the sticker on the bottom...it will tell you which model it really is.

    PS: the 170em is a 17 inch and the 150hm a 15 inch...so if your laptop is a 17 inch model it definetely is not a 150hm ;)
