Cleaning up Toughbook Scratches

    After asking Shawn how he cleans up his computers, I went to Lowes and got a Sharpie Pro Black permanent marker and a Sharpie Metallic Grey one. The black works on wet surfaces.
    When dry the black leaves a sort of red tinge, so by rubbing my sweaty thumb over it, it comes out the same as the original, same with the metallic grey. Or so it looks to these old eyes.

    I choose not to this but if you want you can grind the paint down to the bare metal.
    I do not want you to use this unless you are dead serious on repainting you toughbook. If not then this is not the way for you and you can pretend I did not write this...

    I'm only talking small scratches. I'm lucky to have a few clean machines so this is just a spring clean.

    i recently got a cf19 mk6 that was scratched to crap. grit blasted off the paint and re painted. i used a epoxy paint that is super tough. factory either uses epoxy or powder coating i would think but not sure.
