    Mostly preference, but there are some added-value features of each brand that will be brought out at a later time in a more complex review. More to follow on that at a later point in time.

    Maybe so, but it's not something I bothered comparing because I don't care too much about that. In the rare circumstance that I need longer battery life because AC power is not available, the discrete GPUs are disabled and I am running on IGFX and it would not matter whether AMD or NVIDIA GPUs are installed.

    Nice Review i dont regret selling my M18X R2 i want it back but if i really need a little more GPU power i simply borrow my GF M18X R2 if my sager cant handle it on the go.Maybe for R3 ill get myself another one :laugh:

    Mr. Fox(great man), how did someone get to 90 fps on Arkham City Max settings while I get 61 fps max?

    Those with 7970M should be looking at the Catalyst 12.11 as it seems to make a big difference.

    No, buddy... I am running 680M SLI now. But, I know someone that does have it installed with 7970M Crossfire on an M18x R1 and it's doing a good job for them... much better results than 12.8. Give it a try if you haven't already.
