Hello ma dudes. My niece is very soon starting her apprentice ship in a quiet renown company her in switzerland, and got the requirements for the needed notebook today. It's not really hard to filter out compatible laptops, but man, is it a mess out there.

I'll give you the specs and laptops i've seen and found plausible choices, feel free to recommend me other devices that might be better.

Budget: 1300chf would be the "it's fine" point. Maybe a tad more, but better less. Note 1300chf = 1335USD

Size: 12"-15", should be an easy carry and not have a sledge hammer power brick.

Where we buy: We'll buy in switzerland, preferably in a close by big name store offering payment options to pay it off in like 6 months. Mediamarkt, Interdiscount, Fust, Melectronics, PC-ostschweiz, ect

Brand: Any is fine as long as the device is good and reliable, but will do an easy and fast RMA if needed.

What it needs to do: Office stuff. A lot of it. And should be able to do some multitasking aka. MsOffice, YT, spreadsheets, whatever you could use together.

Design: Light, for a girl, no hardcore gamervibes

What hardware and connectivity is required and i set as minimum since it will be needed for the next 3 years:
    - Windows 10 ofc
    - 400GB+ SSD, preferably NVMe
    - CPU should be a i5 8550U minimum, no stuff like 9900K lol
    - GPU is not really required, but i say something like a MX250 wouldn't hurt
    - 16GB RAM
    - Screen 1080p minimum, 4K would be dope if available. IPS or OLED. Matte if non-touch, the girl would like touch for sure so a glossy 4K touch is ok too.
    - Ports required by the school: HDMI or DP, RJ45, 3.5mm audio, minimum 2 USB A ports (one 3.0+)
    - Needs wlan by default ofc. I want it to support Bluetooth as well.

I guess we can use a dongle for RJ45 if it's needed, since it's marked as recommended if the have issues with the wlan.

The notebook will be bought next week, no time to wait for 10th gen sadly.

Notebooks i have on the radar (marked cursive means above budget and only a pick if we don't find anything better for less):
    - MSI PS42 Modern 8RC-048CH Price: 1700chf
    - Asus ZenBook Edition 30 UX334FL-A4021T
    Price: 2000chf
    - Asus ZenBook Pro 15 UX580GD-BN020T Price: 1250chf (issue: only 256GB SSD option)
    - HP ProBook x360 440 G1 Price: 1100chf

Pleas help me find something solid that will last 3 years and be a good companion! Also stylish... i personally think an AW13R3 would be chic...
