We have a CF-52 and had replaces three inverters but the screen is still dim. I was wondering if it has a fuse on the board like the cf-29 and cf-18.

    Thanks in advances.

If you've already replaced the inverter (which is VERY cheap to do) The panel itself is bad. I've seen this before (Particularly on the CF-51's).

The screen is anywhere from $150 - $300.

    Good luck!

Something isn't right here man. For sure either the replacement screen you have is ALSO bad (and YES, I have had that happen more than once) or the inverter you have is kaput!

From what I can tell the inverter is bad... That's VERY ODD though... for sure the screen is fine!

Did you try it with a few different model of inverters? Of the inverters that you have, are they the EXACT same model number as the OEM one???

Last but not least, where did you get that inverter tester?? What is the model of it? I want to buy one!! :)

both of the inverter are the same exact model as the oem. Here is the link to one of those inverter/lcd tester.

they cost a lot but it gets the job done and save us many time from getting the wrong part.

Just wondering if you have turn up or down the brightness with the hot keys? Hold Function while press F1 for down and F2 for up.

Can you post a clear picture of the inverter. I ask coz most of the time when inverter fail its only a loose solder or even blown fuse on the inveter itself.

A good way to get great, high resolution pics of small, flat obects like this is to scan them on a flatbed scanner. Be sure to use your editing tool in the scanner driver and only scan the portion you need to; at 600DPI, those files get huge if you're doing a full page. Don't forget to do both sides.
