Hi all I have four CF-30 model numbers CF-30CAQAZBM BIOS Version 1.01L19 EC Version 1.10L10 where the touchscreens only work in Windows Vista or 7 and not XP

Touchscreen does not show in BIOS like CF-29 units.
Fujitsu Driver from Panasonic will not load in Windows XP but touchscreen works like a champ in Vista or 7 without any drivers. All 4 30's do the same exact thing in XP, Vista, 7 and BIOS what in the world is going on how do you make it work in XP???

    Thanks in advance :)

You need to install the XP bios. The bios you have is for Vista.

    XP Downgrade bios and EC

Here's a question that I have that hopefully falls inline with this thread. I have a CF-30c that used to run with XP. I recently installed Windows 7 on it and thanks to your forums here, just about have all the bugs worked out. The touchscreen still doesn't calibrate and from the reading I've done here I need to flash the BIOS so that it runs at the Vista version, 30m1bl18, and I should be good to go. I'm going to show my id10t card here because I cannot create bootable disc minus the config.sys and autoexec.bat files. If possible, can somebody point me the right direction to accomplish this part of the Panasonic's flash instructions?

    Welcome to the toughbook forum
...No need to make a bootable disk. Just download the file..double click it and follow what it says.. It is very easy to update it

I downloaded mine from the japan site

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. It did the trick, was completely painless, AND I didn't have to build a bootable disc. The touchscreen calibrates, which was the final bug I needed to work through on these CF-30c Windows 7 upgrades. Thank you for the assistance!
