CF-27 hard drive

    How do you get a windows xp cd to boot onto a blank hard drive ?
    Is it through the bios settings ? .

    Also what size hard drive are you using.

    There is a limit to the size windows and the Toughbook can "SEE". You can get around it "IF" it's too big by making two different partitions.

    Also to wipe the hard drive on a CF-27 is this normally done through the bios settings ?
    or is there a different procedure to follow ?

    Hard drive is the 6gb original could you upgrade to a 80gb hard drive ?

    Another thing that has me curious we all know that the earlier tough books didn't have wifi some CF-27's I've seen for sale there's a built in extendable antenna coming from the lid then what was the use then for this antenna ?

    The antenna is for the old style wireless modem. Not much good anymore.
