    I'm quoting myself :))
Tried to install MK3 WWAN board into MK6. MK6 doesn't power on :)) Only brightness indicator lights up, no more signs of life. Disconnected that board - ok.

I have decided to do a totally fresh install of Win 10 on this extra drive for my CF 19 mk6.
The final decision to try it was the ability to use the built in GPS with the Windows 10 navigation program.
I believe Windows uses the HERE maps (Navteq,Garmin, etc) I have always preferred those maps anyway.
Garmin Mobile PC requires a few hoops to jump to get it running. I am tired of the hoops.

It's a fully loaded 19 and I will use the mk7 drivers from Panasonic. 64bit only so I will need an 8gb ram chip.
    After everything is verified working,
I will follow @Phoenix procedures to disable the "unneeded" extras.

I am downloading the USB x86/64 bit install direct from MS.
I wonder if I could get fancy and slipstream the CF 19 drivers into Win 10?..Only if it all works..

Mine has been running extremely well GPS works when I use the toggle built into windows. My only windows 10 issue is brightness. Windows overrides front panel switches and brightness only changes for a few seconds.

shackwrrr... Sorry... I'm a late comer to this... What was the original OS installed on your CF-19?

Does the brightness stay adjusted when you set it in Windows?

GPS toggle? Please explain. Screenshots would be great.
I imagine I will need more info on that GPS tool you used.

How much ram do you have?
    32bit or 64bit?
Finally, Did you use the official drivers?

If it's what I am thinking... It has to do with installing the older video driver... Just like was needed on some CF-30/31 models when installing W7.

When I get to where I can sit down with the PC I'll be able to answer better.

It seems my way of win10 installation was like that:
clean Win 8 installed on mk3 or mk4
    hdd moved to mk5
    - to mk3
    upgrade to 8.1
    hdd moved to mk5
    upgrade to win10
    hdd moved to mk6
    - to mk7
    - to mk6
    upgrade to creator's update

    Maybe even more laptops.
    Not counting hdd-ssd-hdd-ssd and ram/wwan changes :)))
No reinstallation since first time win8 in spite of hardware upgrades/downgrades. I'm too lazy for that :)))
    Extremely stable system :)))
