I have a CF-19 Mk2 with Windows 7 on the internal SSD. Additionally there is a mini pcie to usb adapter with a usb stick in with with Ubuntu on it. Booting of both OS works fine. Now I would like to boot a second linux distro from a SD card. The BIOS is not capable to boot off an SD card.
From grub console I also can only see hd0 and hd1 which ist the internal SSD and the USB stick - but the SD card does not show up. How can I make grub recognize the SD card? Anybody achieved this?

Maybe ask on Toughbooktalk.com in the Linux forum.

    Your card should appear in
    Code:
    lspci
    .

gparted sees it as /dev/mmcblk01 on my CF-54
