Not sure which one you bought but many don't come with power cable.

I bought the one Shawn referred me too, and while searching did in fact discover that the power cable might not be included, but lady luck smiled kindly and rewarded me with the power cable as well.

I am presently deep into trying to set up my new to me CF-19VMRFX2M w/ W10 to be benevolent & kind as well. It is a very different creature than W7

Is there any consensus on the 64bit and 6gb deal?

Do a Google search. All the speed tests I read say that you need 6gb with win7 64bit in order to acheive the same performance as win7 32bit with 4gb.

IMO, if you have modern laptop (MK4+) - use 64-bit Win. And install SSD and as much RAM as possible :)))
If you have MK2-MK3 with 4GB RAM and plan to install more RAM in the future - use 64-bit Win.
In any other case listen to Shawn :)))))

P.S. I'm on mk7 now with 4gb RAM (temporarily), 64-bit Win10. And it's not slow thanks to SSD.

    Hi,
    I'm looking to upgrade a MK4 to MK6 or MK7.
Are there any digitizer-only -versions among MK6 or MK7?
The MK7 might, or might not, have 5-point multitouch?
Is there a working decoder at this time.
I'm mostly looking at eBay for units, I'll have to swap the nordic keyboard from the MK4.
Also, what is the maximum RAM with or without camera?

I'm also open to offers, if anyone has a unit they are willing to part from

What's a decoder in this context?
    Keyboards are compatible.
    8/16GB.
Best upgrade is to fz-g1 ;)

A decoded that would allow me to see with what the computer was dispatched with originally knowing it might not be accurate anymore.
The FZ-G1 would be better for the use - possibly - but the existing vehicular dock makes a CF-19 more economical. Maybe.
