    Hi All,

Ok, I purchased this very low hour, under 400, CF-19 with the Chrome OS on it. I did what I thought was the obvious thing and attempted to restore the XP/Pro OS which failed, leaving the SSD in a boot-loop. I subsequently purchased a 1TB HDD for the TB and all went as expected with the restore. My obvious question is, is there any way to recover the 80GB SSD and bring it back to life?

    Tks,

    RC

Try putting it in a external usb.
then run Easeus partition manager free and delete all partitions on the SSD.
Then put the SSD back into the CF 19 and run restore from the dvd or a generic windows install.

Also if you have a dock you can clear the ssd with the chrome browser, all apps, recovery and then top right hit the gear icon and erase the drive. Then format on windows. Also works on Linux usb drives.
