    Hello All

Seams as tho a seller on ebay is liquidating the stock of CF-07's, so uh I got 18 of them

looking though I have various model numbers

    CF-07LZ5ZYDM
    CF-07LZ5ZYEM

looking at the service manual it seams that the model numbers break down into the following

    Model No. CF-07 1 Z 2 Z Y 3 4
    1: CPU type
    L: for Intel® Mobile Pentium® III Processor 300 MHz
2: HDD type / RAM size
    5: 5GB / 128 MB
    A: 10GB / 128 MB ??
    C:20GB / 128 MB ??

    3: Operation System
    E: Microsoft ® Windows® 98
    D: Microsoft ® Windows® 2000
    K: Microsoft Windows XP ??
    4 :
    M: USA

Can someone chime in with the specs & model number of thiers to see if my additions (in red) are correct?

    CF-07LZ5ZYEM - Base OS Windows 98 SE , 5GB HDD
    CF-07LZ5ZYDM - Base OS Windows 2000 SP2 , 5 GB HDD
    CF-07LZAZYDM - Base OS Windows 2000 SP2 , 10 GB HDD
    CF-07LZCZYDM - Base OS Windows 2000 SP2 , 20 GB HDD

    regards
    Dan

I have to ask, what are you going to do with 18 of them? I had a few and for the life of me, I could never get the CF-08 to connect to them. Operator error I'm sure.....:D

    I bet Ador knows.

I still have 3 CF-07 units. One is in a after market dock hooked to a remote screen and keyboard. I have another in the factory dock hooked to another keyboard and 02 remote screen. The third is in the factory dock and has a PCMCIA gps in it. I have it set up for the remote wireless screen. They make good car computers. Batteries that work good are hard to find.

The cpu is a 600 mhz unit underclocked at the factory to 300 mhz to keep it cool with no fan.

This thread shows the cable you need to add a cable for usb plug in with out a dock on the 07.

Lots of old threads here and a should be a few at TBT

The wikispace link won't work in the above thread, that site was shut down and deleted.
But the web archives has some of it.

I will see if I got time to blow the dust off and take a few pictures if you need it.
